I am thrilled to announce my new business name - Hannah Mortensen Photography!
I have posted previously about Adam and I's wedding/marriage experience. This experience has shaped me in ways I did not expect.
My new last name holds all the dreams for the future. I came to the realization that I will spend my future as Hannah Mortensen. This is the next chapter of my life that will hopefully be the longest and fullest chapter yet. This led me to reflect on the name of my photography business.
Reasons I decided to change my photography name are 1) I'm trying to make myself known in Wisconsin and I want to eliminate confusion for this new area, 2) this is legally my name, 3) I am excited for this new chapter of my life, and 4) I have confidence that my connections in Iowa that know me as a "Fisher" will know and understand.
Don't get me wrong, I love my maiden name and Adam will always call me Hannah Fisher which is endearing. I still hold the name close to my heart and how far the name and my family got me in this world. I am so grateful!
A final thank you to my friends and family that listened to all my back and forth and provided honest, genuine opinions to help me work through the decision.
